If you are using Windows Media player on the computer to rip songs/folder then, it could be an issue with the settings in rip settings menu.

Please follow the steps below to run the troubleshooter:

a)Press Windows and w key to open the search menu.

b)Type Troubleshooting inside the search box.

c)Click on Troubleshooting icon.

Method 2:
I would suggest you to change the settings for the rip menu and check if it helps.
