Asianet Movies is an Indianpay television channel that was launched on 15 July 2012. Owned by Asianet Digital Network, it was the first Malayalam-language satellite television channel at the time of its launch.[3][4] Aside from broadcasting Malayalam-language movies, it also airs Tamil- and Hindi-language content on weekends.
